How do I pay for my custom home? |
Assuming you hold title to the property on which the home will be built, you would most likely secure a construction loan from a local bank or financial institution for the cost of the construction. We would invoice you monthly for the percentage (%) of work completed and your lender would then complete an on-site inspection to confirm our numbers. The lender would issue a “draw” to you with which to pay us. This process would be followed each month until completion. Upon completion, you could convert your construction loan to a permanent mortgage.
