| What are allowances? |
Allowances are typically a predetermined budget expressed in dollars to be spent on a specified product or service. These allowances are spelled out in the Contract before building or renovating begins. Typical allowances would be for appliances, carpet, cabinets, light fixtures, landscaping, etc.
